Dinner for the Girls

The downtown area of Evergreen had several great places to have dinner. It was still light out so they walked for a while checking out the menus of the open restaurants and window shopping. M commented on the clothes in the window of one shop. Taffy giggled when she saw the shop with the salt water taffy sign. “We’ll have to stop there tomorrow. I love salt water taffy and those shoes in the window are so colorful. They would be great for summer!”

It was close to seven when the two settled into a booth at A Tavola. The menu was too good for words. Both M and Taffy settled on an Italian Chopped Salad and Margarita Flat Bread to share. A good glass of red wine by each of them was brought to the table first.
